Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026
QueenMuseum.com is a personal, non-commercial website run by a private collector, showcasing Queen records, autographs and memorabilia. This site does not sell products or process payments. This page explains what data is collected when you visit, and how cookies are used.
1. Data we collect
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for security and performance purposes, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
If you leave a comment on an article, WordPress stores the name, email address and website you provide with that comment, along with your IP address, to help detect spam.
If you contact us through the Contacts page, the information you submit (such as your name and email address) is used only to reply to your message.
We do not require registration to browse the site, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
2. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use the following categories:
- Necessary cookies — required for the site and the cookie consent banner itself to function (e.g. remembering your cookie preferences).
- Advertising cookies — this site displays ads served by Google AdSense, which may set cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can control ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com.
- Affiliate & tracking cookies — some pages include Amazon Associates affiliate links/banners, which may set cookies used by Amazon to track referrals, and a tracking pixel from Buzzoole for the same purpose.
- Embedded content cookies — some articles embed YouTube videos, which may set cookies once you interact with the player.
You can review and change your cookie choices at any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer of this site, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings.
3. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you (such as a comment or a message sent through the Contacts page), and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, please get in touch via the Contacts page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
4. Third parties
Aside from the services mentioned above (Google AdSense, YouTube, Amazon Associates, Buzzoole), we do not share your data with third parties, and we do not sell any data.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in how the site works. Please check back occasionally.
6. Contact
For any question about this policy or your data, please use the Contacts page.
